Claire & Darren’s Story

Stylish London Wedding Photography: Claire & Darren

Claire & Darren’s wedding was a beautiful two-part celebration in some of London’s most iconic venues. The first part was an intimate elopement at Marylebone Registry Office, followed by a delicious lunch and stunning photographs at the elegant St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel—a photographer’s dream with its timeless architecture and charm.

The second part of their day unfolded at the modern and luxurious Haymarket Hotel, featuring a Jewish ceremony filled with love and tradition. Although a 3 PM December wedding meant no outdoor light for city shots, the Haymarket Hotel’s stylish interiors provided a perfect backdrop. Its vibrant colors, chic furnishings, and even a balcony scene gave us plenty of creative opportunities.

The evening reception was held downstairs around the hotel’s unique glass-covered swimming pool, with sections of the pool exposed and bathed in colored lights. Combined with Claire and Darren’s meticulous attention to detail, from table settings to décor, the space looked absolutely magical. A brilliant live band brought the party to life, making it a night to remember.

Here’s a selection of stylish and modern London wedding photography from Claire & Darren’s day. If you’re planning your wedding at Marylebone Registry Office, St. Pancras Hotel, Haymarket Hotel, or anywhere in London, I’d love to capture your special moments with timeless, creative images that reflect your story.

I’m a photographer and Squarespace web designer based in Altrincham, South Manchester. I specialise in portrait, landscape and opera photography and also offer a “complete website package” where I can offer headshots, photos of your business and design your new website so you can manage it yourself afterwards.

Over the years I’ve built a portfolio career as a professional photographer, opera singer, wardrobe assistant and singing teacher. I have a MMus from the RNCM, a Bachelor in Theatre Sciences and Musicology from Ghent University and I’m a qualified teacher. When my son was born in 2021 I quickly realised that an opera career wasn’t as compatible with being a mum as much as I would like, so I decided to change my focus completely to photography and web design.

I prefer working with daylight in casual surroundings while having a chat making sure you’re at ease and relaxed. It’s the little moments in between that make the best shots!

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to work with me!
